Dr. R Nagarathnamma, a Senior Obstetrician & Gynaecologist with over 35 years of experience, is an alumnus of Bangalore Medical College and KIMS. She specializes in managing complicated obstetric and gynaecological conditions, including high-risk pregnancies and obstetric emergencies. A strong advocate for vaginal deliveries, she also performs complicated caesarean sections. Trained in Laparoscopic surgery, she has set up a Laparoscopy unit at RRMCH and performs various laparoscopic procedures. Dr. Nagarathnamma has expertise in treating infertile couples, gynaecological problems, adolescent health issues, and menopausal conditions. As a past president of the Bangalore Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, she has trained professionals and performed live surgeries. Currently active in the Breast Cancer committee of KASOGA and the executive committee of the Indian Menopause Society, Dr. Nagarathnamma continues to contribute to women's health and medical education.
